Inspired by the islands of Latin America and with love for the freshest ingredients, Bodega creates food people love.

Nestled in the bustling Edge District, Bodega was destined for St. Petersburg. Through the perfect marry of culinary creativity and an unapologetic appreciation for authenticity, the shack with a chalkboard menu and paper dinner boxes is a “come as you are” place to dine on award-winning cuisine.

Bodega’s commitment to fresh, made-to-order food is in every bite. Renowned for the Cuban sandwich, the relaxed ambiance, and the fresh juice bar, the restaurant is a local favorite. Offering  vegetarian and vegan options, there’s something for everyone at Bodega.

New Yorkers George and Debbie Sayegh fell in love with Central Avenue, St. Petersburg when a comfortable and exciting nostalgia set in. From their various restaurants, culinary studies, countries, and cities, it was the up-and-coming Central Avenue of St. Petersburg that reminded them of their early Brooklyn days when the city boomed.
George studied culinary arts in Manhattan, toured the globe, studying in France but loved the fresh Latin-infused flavors while in Miami. Debbie, having been born into the restaurant industry and with a creative eye, has lead the charge on a gamut of concepts from neighborhood bodegas to fine-dining occasion restaurants, but was drawn to the relaxed and comfortable St. Petersburg.
